Legendarys Guide

This is a full guide about legendary placement and legendary order

!DISCLAIMER!
before you joined all factions i reccomend only getting the corner piece legendary, you can get more legendaries if you want

The first legendary items are unlocked at tier 500 then at 600 and 700. They cost 500G and 500 Ys legendarys for the tier 500 legendarys and the others cost correspondingly more. See this guide to see how to get that.

For the order use this:


(Note that the meta now is to use 2 pierce 2 add projectile instead of 1 pierce and 3 add projectile)

For the first legendary use it at the start before any multipliers and after addition with this combo:



Note:With the combo it should activate around 90% of the time and if you could use a cloner and an add projectile before this one it would be better, but if you move the add projectile from inside a loop to outside and dont have anything to fill the loop with other than multipliers, then just dont bother

Note 2:Dont add any add projectile/cloner in between the charger and the 4x When Lower legendary as only one of the projectile will activate the legendary


For the tier damage place it before any multipliers for example:


For the corner legendary if you use logic you can know that to put it at the earliest spot before any corner piece. Also the 1.1x only activates when it turns a corner. Example of usage:


Note:For the archmage build there is only 2 spot before the turn and one of them is occupied by the corner legendary, put the strongest addition there which is your tier damage right now. But if you have the +100 use it instead until tier 1000. After you hit tier 1000 you can swap back to the tier damage again


For combiner use it at the very end of the path, but just before the charger. Example:

Note:Keep the cloner and add projectile in either before or after combiner but its highly reccomended for it to be before combiner


For cloner there is no real "best position" so just put it anywhere. Read the mote on the first legendary for more info


Ok now there are 2 legendaries that you can choose, +100 or the empty legendary. I will reccomend the +100 first as it is abit more than double damage and the second one is good when you have the skills


For the +100 damage it is basically the same as tier damage. You can get rid of this legendary at around tier 2300
Example on usage:

Note: In the case of archmage read the corner skill legendary note


For the empty legendary you can place it anywhere outside loops and after additions

And there is a legendary that is not on the list because its use is very specific. You can use it when there are less than 5 bullets at once. And if you guessed the legendary that gives a buff depending on how many bullets there are then you would be correct. Place it anywhere but before any add projectile and cloner. Example:

    1. Because it doesn't matter where it is placed. It always has the same effect of doubling the projectile amount

    1. Should it? These are just to show how to place legendarys . Transmitter is way better than archmage. But yes even this ahould if you have the right skilltree

  3. I noticed something that might be able to be improved here.

    Tile 3 down 2 right, 2x split. (Same on opposite side)
    Tile 3 down 3 right, 3x split. (Same on opposite side)
    Tile 2 down 3 right, damage boost. (Same on opposite side)
    Tile 8 down, 3 right, 3x split.
    Tile 8 down, 7 right, 2x split.
    Tile 8 down, 8 right, whatever you want.

    This allows you to shoot more out, even if those aren't fully upgraded, they will still add a little more damage out and about.

    1. This will make the ship worse because of 3 or 4 reasons.
      1. I need to mention that the dmg at these outputs is very low so you gain only minimal more dmg
      2. The legendary that gives dmg per turn doesn't give dmg per split
      3. The legendary that gives dmg per empty and with skill also per turn has the same issue
      4. The legendary that gives dmg the fewer projectiles you have will be worse

    2. Ah, I have yet to unlock any legendary stuff. I've seemed to hit a wall in progression at this point, but ah well. I assume that my input here, would be useful for anyone who doesn't have legendary stuff, yes?

      I did this method on one of the ships that were in the meta path page here, the Explorer. Shortening its path by 1 on one side to allow me to split the bullets there on that side gave me a boost of DPS.

  4. Hi, i'm quite new to the game (roughly 1 week in) and have just bought my first legendary (the one you recommended). Could you please explain further how best to use it? I have the transmitter ship and currently from the generator I have the damage cross, followed by the 4% chance of 30x, followed by the charger, then the legendary. Is this the best use of it? I'm confused how this gets the best out of it.

    1. Explanation:
      This works once the x10 triggers the first time
      Then the charger save some damage from tha x10 shot
      With the charger the damage becomes lower and lower which means :item_legendary_more_when_lower: will proc every time except :item_4percent: crits again but 10x is even better than x8/x4...

      If you have items that add dmg like the +1 they should be before this combo

  5. Hello, I hope someone still sees this, I've started playing some days ago and I'm doing my best to understand how everything works, but I'm still missing some points I guess lol

    I'm around for 600 now and I'm using the transmitter build on your tiers guide and just bought the corner leg and the +100 leg; I have 4 +1 at the start of the build and I'm doing max dpp of ~1900k, but why if I swap one +1 for the+100 the max dpp lowers by ~400k? It's truly baffling me.

    3. I assume if you have the tier guide build the whole ship has 13 +20 items. then each of the 4 in the path gives 20*13 dmg, so 260. then it makes sense the dmg becomes lower

  6. Does the sparse damage legendary not work right after the 10 to 1 combiner? I have thay in my build but the dps seems to not be affected much, even though there should be exactly 1 projectile going through it everytime

    1. you mean the legendary that gives more dmg with less projectiles. that counts the projectiles that are currently on the screen. if that is more than 10 you don't get any bonus

    3. it doesn't matter if it is after or before the combiner because the amount of projectiles that are alive on the map. (not exactly on screen).
