Wave/custom ship explanation

This is an explanation for waves and custom ships so you know everything and can start playing waves.

First, I want to explain what I mean when I say certain words:

rc: "Red Crosses", the currency you get when playing waves and which you need to buy chunks

Chunks: The 3x3 blocks which you buy with rc and build custom ships with

Items: All the things which you put in the ship and buy in the normal shop

What is the Waves mode?

The waves mode is unlocked when you reach tier 400 but you should start playing it when you are tier 1000 I'll explain later why. 

With the wave mode, a new building screen and shop is unlocked, that is because in the wave mode you can't use your normal ships, you have to use a custom ship that is made out of 3x3 blocks. When playing waves you get rc, you need these to buy the 3x3 chunks.

Every wave consists of 105 blocks (7x15). The health of the blocks increases with the wave.

You have 28 seconds for wave 1 and from then till wave 10 it lowers by 2 seconds every time. Until it is fixed to 10 seconds each wave from wave 10 to infinity.

If you clear all the blocks you get to the next wave. If you can't do that before the time runs out the wave run stops and you get rc you collected in the run.

You get a rc every few waves, the amount the waves between the rc gets lower the further you are. 

 

Now let's explain the wave screens:

How to build custom ships?

Press 1 to build the 3x3 chunks, for that double click 2 to choose a chunk for that point. 

Press 3 to change the build mode in 4 from classic to custom ship or back. With that, you also switch which ship you want to use ( classic/ custom)

5 is the projectile spawner it can not be moved

Press 6 to choose a ship skin, this does not change fire rate projectile speed or hitbox.

Why you should start waves after tier 1000 (and when you joined all factions):

Factions will reset your custom ship, and to get to the factions you don't need a custom ship so playing the mode is a waste of time mostly. But it is of course up to you, you can sure play it if you want to.

And because you want to have a full skilltree want all the needed legendaries.
