Tiers Guide What are tiers? The world map are unlocked at Mission 11. The world map is a net of worlds, the tier is the distance from the center (0/0) if you finish a map/tier/world(whatever you want to call it) you can play the connected ones to progress further and further. With doing tiers you also unlock new things like the waves mode at tier 400, legendaries at 500, 600 and 700 and probably most important a skill point every 50 tiers. The factions can also be unlocked with outposts located on the world map Best way to progress in early tiers: To help you at the start you can skip the tiers depending on the missions you did, up to tier 300 at mission 99.  This guide will explain everything you need to know about captains What are captains? There are 8 different captains. You can choose one captain to be the active one. The captain you chose will basically buff your ship in various ways, giving more base damage or fire rate, or increasing the amounts of ys and rc you get. Each captain has 5 Tiers of Talents with 3 Talents in each.  How to buy captains: To buy a captain go into the captain menu and click a captain you want to hire then click "hire" on the middle left. Every captain cost 10k money first, it will increase by x10 each time you buy a new captain. Upgrading captain Rank Rank is very simple way to upgrade your captain. For each rank of the captain you use, you get +1 base damage. The Rank of the captain you can see on the left side. Click promote to increase the rank. If it still doesn't work activate"show hiddenfiles" in your file explorer. Last option would be to use a different file explorer (I would suggest Cx File Explorer). Miner Gun Builder Wave Guide This is a complete guide from starting waves to having all chunks you need. About which chunks to buy, which items to use, and when you should give up in a wave run to get the most rc/min. Before you read any further please keep in mind, that this will be a full guide, so it could take the fun from some people. But also keep in mind that buying the wrong tiles, especially at the start of waves can slow you down extremely and some chunks seem good but aren't. This is an explanation for waves and custom ships so you know everything and can start playing waves . First, I want to explain what I mean when I say certain words: rc: "Red Crosses", the currency you get when playing waves and which you need to buy chunks Chunks: The 3x3 blocks which you buy with rc and build custom ships with Items: All the things which you put in the ship and buy in the normal shop What is the Waves mode? The waves mode is unlocked when you reach tier 400 but you should start playing it when you are tier 1000 I'll explain later why.  With the wave mode, a new building screen and shop is unlocked, that is because in the wave mode you can't use your normal ships, you have to use a custom ship that is made out of 3x3 blocks.
